Based in Denmark for over 20 years, Scott has been a leadership trainer and coach to church leaders. He is the President of Eurolead.net, a network of churches in Europe. He is also the founder and Director of the Institute for Creativity, Leadership and Management (ICLM).

Scott travels extensively, teaching and training leaders on building great church. He holds two masters degrees, one in theology and the other in organisational development. He also holds a doctorate through an adjunct college of Liverpool University, England. He has authored eight books, is married to Linda who pastors churches in Denmark. He has two adult children.

The Institute for Creativity, Leadership and Management (ICLM) was founded in 1999 by Scott Wilson.

The title name gives indication to how ICLM works. Leadership demands creativity, on the right polar, and management, on the left polar. Leadership is in the middle and the pivot on which these two polars hang. Leadership needs to embrace creativity whilst embracing management. John Kotter, a well known author on Leadership and Change said "All leaders manage but not all managers lead" It was these words in the early 90s that separated leadership and management as a form. ICLM continues to day to support leaders in churches and business to do their work well through training, resources, coaching and consultancy.
