2013 looks to be as busy, if not busier, than 2012. Churches in Europe grow and they continue to need help in certain areas. Europe has never been better placed for a significant move of God! Good days ahead

Martin Luther, some issues

Martin Luther was one of the great reformers, all would admit, Im sure. But some may not know that he advocated the death of what then was known as "Anabaptist" our current Baptists. They had taken the reformation truth a little further, rightly, and added that baptism is for adult repentant believers. Luther did not agree and demanded they return to what he called the truth of Baprism. As we know today, the Agustinian/Catholic/Lutheran view on baby baptism has possibly doomed many to a Christless eternity than any other doctrine in the world. Luthers supporters just say he was a bit senile in those days! Maybe, and it should not take away from his courage, intestinal fortitude and faith. Not everyone gets it right first time

Martin Luther, you need to know more

Luther was a great reformer and minister, later in his life he tended to loose some of his marbles, but dont we all. He was a learned man (it amazes me how many people bought revival and change but were learned and well respected, like Paul, Wesley, and others. As a pentecostal, many of change agents I knew of were rough, uneducated, but powerful people). Luther probably made the most difference to how we do church in the last 500 years. But there were many before him as well. John Huss said almost the same things one hundred years before- Maybe there is something to right place, right time, right person!

Martin Luther

Linda and I have just returned from a great trip examining the extraordinary life of this amazing man, Martin Luther. Apart from the significant part he played in history, I found out some really interesting things. He was financially loaded! He had one of the biggest houses in the area, had the most cattle in the town, and his wife had a successsful business as well. He even had a house withj proper toilets (that was something 500 years ago) and often complained about them since his office was right over the top of them. Here I am thinking the guy was some poor poverty person wife a miserable life, not true. I also noticed the same about John Wesly when I visited his house in London. If you dont beleiev me, take the tour yourself! Where do we get this crazy, narrow-minded view from? Maybe its the crazy narrow.minded preachers, preaching it.
